Information presented in this volume includes: (1) name of registrant and witnesses; (2) date of registration; (3) description of lands so posted, and (4) the Georgia Militia District number in which the lands were located.

This series is composed of bound volumes which document the names of the persons and businesses paying school taxes for the dates listed. Information presented in these volumes includes: (1) name of taxpayer; (2) amount paid; (3) date of payment, and (4) name of school district in which taxpayer paid tax.

Scope and Contents Writ dockets contain legal orders issued by the court commanding the person to whom it is directed to perform or refrain from performing a specified act. The bound volumes in this series document the issuance of these orders and contain other additional information including: (1) names of plaintiffs and defendants; (2) the term of court in which case was held; (3) issues involved in case, and (4) disposition of case.
